The 8 best summer holiday restaurant deals where kids can eat free or super cheap

A number of restaurants across the UK are holding special offers and discounts this summer for families looking to eat out with their kids without breaking the bank

The summer holidays are here, and for families, that often means the juggling act of fun activities, feeding the kids, and stretched budgets.

Parents can expect to spend an average of over £100 per week extra during the summer holidays, on top of their usual expenses, according to a new survey from Emma's Diary.

This extra spending can easily reach £611 over the six-week summer break. Some families, particularly those using clubs and camps, may see their spending increase by an additional £385, with day trips adding another £199 and additional food and snacks potentially costing £401.

But thankfully, eating out doesn't have to break the bank. With a bit of planning and a few savvy tricks from money-saving expert Jordon Cox (aka the Coupon King), families can enjoy meals out for a fraction of the price - or even for free in some cases. Here's a round-up of the best kids-eat-free (or nearly free) deals this summer.
