Man told he's 'won the wife lottery' after hilarious cookie mix-up

A man was left saying his wife was 'lame' after she gave him a cookie, addressing whether or not he'd passed his exams to become an attorney but people said he'd 'won the wife lottery'

While a man was awaiting the results for passing his law exams, his wife was preparing a special surprise in the background for him. But, little did he know, that she'd prepared a present for him in either eventuality - so whether he passed or failed, she had something waiting in the wings for him.

Account Wolf of X posted a video on X where the woman's unsuspecting husband opened up his present - a huge personalised cookie. However, she "accidentally" gave him "the wrong cake for passing his exam," and he was left baffled at the words that were written on the cookie.

When he lifted up the lid of the cookie, it read: "Screw the bar. Who wants to be an attorney anyways?"

He awkwardly laughed, not understanding the joke, as she could be heard saying: "Oh s***".

"S***," she repeated, as she ran across the room to retrieve the other cookie - which was the one she was meant to give him, as he actually had passed his exams.

When he saw her with the other box, he burst out laughing, knowing what was coming, and that this cookie would be a congratulatory version, similar to the first one he'd received.

"Sorry, here," she said, as she rectified her mistake by giving him the actual cookie.

On this one, it read: "CONGRATS Mr Attorney!! Never doubted you for a second."

"You're so lame," he lovingly joked, while giggling appreciatively at the fact that he had not one, but two cookies to devour.

In the comments, people found the irony of her giving him a commiserations cookie while claiming she "never doubted him" hilarious.

However, people said that this was all part of her "joke," and she had a "plan" to just eat two cookies with him.

"Bro won the wife lottery," someone complimented him.

Another said: "Imagine doing all this for you. Shows how much she loves you. I'm jealous".

"Awesome wife, she was ready to support him for better or for worse," a man praised.

"Now, that's what's called planning for all eventualities," an X user joked, saying she was just being practical.

Others said that this was one of their "favourite" videos of all time, and every time it came up on social media, they had to watch it.

One woman shared a similar fail she'd had - but this time, it was for real.

She wrote: "I once accidentally sent a 'CONGRATS ON WINNING THE WORLD SERIES!' email to the entire C-suite + board… after the team LOST. Had 2 drafts, hit the wrong one. Tried to recall it—apparently recall only works for users with the same domain".
