Fortnite is about to undergo a huge change, with the next update set to bring a new era for the game that will introduce some very familiar faces. Here's everything you need to know about the next Fortnite update.

Fortnite's forthcoming update is set to be a game-changer, launching a new era for the game that introduces some very familiar faces.

Fortnite is on the brink of significant transformation. The game has been performing incredibly well with its current chapter, which has revealed a lengthy list of Fortnitemares skins release dates for players to anticipate and the Ghostface Stalkboxes morphing them into notorious slashers.

There's plenty to keep them occupied, but while many players may not be ready to transition into something new, it's clear that two recognisable aliens have other plans for them.

A forthcoming Fortnite live event featuring Kang and Kodos is set to usher in a new Simpsons mini-season, as what once seemed like an outlandish idea becomes reality in a new Simpsons Battle Pass leak. The game is about to undergo substantial changes, but a full update stands in the way. Fortunately for us, it isn't too far off at this point.

So, when is the next Fortnite update? Here's what you need to know about the upcoming Chapter 6-closing mini-season.

When is the next Fortnite update?

The forthcoming Fortnite update, which will usher in the new Simpsons mini-season, is slated to drop at 8.30am PDT / 11.30am EDT / 3.30pm GMT on Saturday, November 1. The insider @Hypex has spilled the beans on when the new live event is due to kick off (half an hour prior to this projected time, as the live event isn't anticipated to last much longer than this) before the game is set to bounce back in its new season at 2pm PDT / 5pm EDT / 9pm GMT on the same day.

It's going to be a lengthy downtime, but given that the entire game is undergoing something of a revamp, it's hardly surprising. However, Fortnite is set to become a thrilling place to be shortly afterwards, so be prepared to dive in.
