Elizabeth II was born on April 21 1926, became Queen on 6 February 1952, and died on 8 September 2022.

She was married to Prince Philip from November 1947 until his death in April 2021, and had four children - Charles, Anne, Andrew and Edward.

She marked her Platinum Jubilee in 2022, and saw significant modernisation of the monarchy during her reign.
