The schoolboy was walking through the Fir Tree pub car park, in the Croxteth Park estate, Liverpool, on 22 August 2007 when he was gunned down by a hooded youth on a mountain bike. Sean Mercer, 18, was jailed for life with a minimum 22 years for murder.
