Introduced in April 1999, Individual Savings Accounts - or ISAs - allow anyone over the age of 16 to save up to a certain amount each year tax free. In the 2012/13 tax year the limit is £5,640 in cash (or £11,280 in shares). Make sure your money is invested before the deadline of 5 April in order to reap the full benefits.
