George Osborne was the Tory MP for Tatton from 2001 until 2017.

He was Chancellor of the Exchequer from 2010 until 2016, when he was sacked by the newly-appointed Prime Minister Theresa May. He became editor of the Evening Standard in May 2017, and stepped down as an MP just a couple of months later.
