Formed off the back of the nation's men winning the 1966 World Cup, England's Lionesses - unlike the fellas - were able to bring football home when winning the European Championship in 2022. A 2-1 over Germany at Wembley gave the host nation a first major tournament success, while they have also reached multiple World Cup quarter-finals and the semis once.
