He held the seat in the 2015, 2017 and 2019 general elections.
Dan was elected Mayor of the Sheffield City Region in 2018.
He has two children from his marriage to first wife Caroline, who died from cancer in 2011, and one with his second wife Rachel, who he married in 2013.
