First launched in 1983 as Breakfast Time, the show is broadcast from 6am to 9.15am every day and is characterised by a light yet formal approach to news. Sian Williams and Bill Turnbull joined the show in 2001 with Williams leaving when filming was relocated to Salford in April 2012.
