A tenacious ballplayer in his playing days Conte excelled at the heart of the Juventus midfield winning the Champions League once and the Serie A title five times. He began his managerial career in earnest with Bari before moving on to Siena with more success. Returned to Juventus as manager in 2011 and went on to win three consecutive Scudettos. After a short spell in charge of Italy Conte was appointed head coach of Chelsea in April 2016.
