Pregnant Kate Middleton repeats £165 Seraphine maternity cocktail dress from royal tour

The Duchess of Cambridge stepped out in the 'Marlene' frock to open Place2Be's new HQ in London

The Duchess of Cambridge is certainly getting a lot of wear out of her maternity wardrobe, as she stepped out in a Seraphine maternity dress to open Place2Be's new headquarters in London.

Eagle-eyed fans of her style will remember the blue lace cocktail frock from the royal tour of Sweden and Norway in January.

The £165 'Marlene' frock features a flattering empire waistline with velvet ribbon detailing and subtle bell cuffs - a style that Kate has been wearing time and time again during her third pregnancy.

The Duchess teamed the dress with matching accessories - her black Stuart Weitzman pumps and Mulberry Bayswater clutch bag. A wavy blowdry and her sapphire and diamond drop earrings completed the blue tonal ensemble.

Kate is a patron of children's mental health charity Place2Be and today she met with pupils and staff at the HQ.

The charity tweeted: "We are delighted that our Patron HRH The Duchess of Cambridge will open our new headquarters today, providing state-of-the-art training facilities, enabling us to train more counsellors, teachers & school leaders, & a new home for our research & evaluation teams."

Kate's outfit choices during her pregnancy have led to speculation about the sex of her baby. She has noticeably been wearing blue more than any ever colour, leading fans of the royal to believe she is expecting a baby boy.

But others think the Duchess is trying to throw everyone off the scent and is actually carrying a little girl.

Yesterday she brought back her cream JoJo Maman Bébé coat to visit Pegasus Primary School in Oxford.

Further details about her due date also emerged this week. A royal source told The Sun that Kate could give birth on April 23, which is St George's Day.
