Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle will watch Serena Williams in the Wimbledon Ladies Final

The Duchesses will see the US tennis champ take on Angelique Kerber on 14 July

Kensington Palace have confirmed that the Duchess of Cambridge and Duchess of Sussex will attend the Ladies' Singles Final at Wimbledon on Saturday 14 July.


Meghan's BFF Serena Williams faces German world number 10 Angelique Kerber in the final, after beating Julia Goerges on Thursday.


Prior to the start of play, Kate and Meghan will meet a number of former Wimbledon Champions, as well as some of the ball boys and girls, to learn about their experiences.


Kate, who is Patron of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club, will take a brief break from her maternity leave to attend the tournament.

She has long been a fan of the sport and has attended every year consecutively since marrying into the royal family in 2011.

Her parents Carole and Michael Middleton, and siblings Pippa and James have all attended over the past week, to watch the action courtside.

It will be Meghan's first time in the royal box, since marrying Prince Harry in May. The former actress has been spotted in the stands in previous years.

It's another opportunity for the Duchesses to show off their style credentials, after wowing at the RAF 100 service on Tuesday.

Kate and William will also attend the men's final on Sunday 15 July.
