Copy Kate Middleton's bold coat collection with our looks for less
The Duchess of Cambridge has stood out in some bright outerwear during her pregnancy
The Duchess of Cambridge carried out her last public engagements on Thursday and now she's off on maternity leave to prepare for the arrival for royal baby number three.
One of the most noticeable trends from Kate's maternity wardrobe has been her love for bright and elegant coats in a spectrum of colours. We've also seen the return of some classic pieces from her previous pregnancies, such as her Goat 'Redgrave' number and the hot pink Mulberry.
And you don't have to be expecting to copy Kate's look, as the majority of the styles she's been sporting are non-maternity.

Cream of the crop
For her last public engagements on Thursday, before going on maternity leave, Kate brought back her cream Goat 'Redgrave' coat. It's the second time we've seen her in it during this pregnancy and it must be a staple, as she first wore it when expecting Prince George. Try the look yourself with an on trend fluted sleeve.
Perfect pastels
The Duchess looked gorgeous in a bespoke mint green coat and dress by Jenny Packham to host a children's health conference earlier this week. Get ahead of spring trends like Kate and invest in a pastel coat or blazer.
Glowing in green
Kate's dark green Catherine Walker coat had its first outing on the royal tour of Sweden and Norway earlier this year. She then rewore it for the St Patrick's Day parade. Whether we end up with a white Easter weather-wise remains to be seen, but this Boden number is a good investment to put away for the winter months.
Baby blue
The Duchess wore a very familiar outfit at the beginning of the year, when she visited a hospital unit in London. She rewore her Seraphine cashmere blue 'Natasha' coat and 'Florrie' dress from her second pregnancy with Princess Charlotte. Topshop do a great copycat.
Hot pink
Kate brought back her cerise pink Mulberry coat for a visit to Coventry in January. She first wore the striking piece when she visited New York in 2014, when pregnant with Princess Charlotte.
Royal in red
Kate stood out in this bold Boden coat in London, back in January. The £220 Lena style with peter pan collar flew off the shelves, but we've found a similar one for a pop of the price.
