Vick Hope wore diamonds so expensive she 'needed security guard' at swanky bash

Vick Hope sported luxurious designer diamonds to an event, which were so expensive she had to be escorted by a security guard, reports claim. The BBC Radio 1 host, 36, attended the hosted the Glamour Women of the Year Awards in London on Thursday, and was dripping in Bulgari diamonds thought to be worth £1 million.
The broadcaster, who married Calvin Harris just over two years ago, arrived at the evening with a bodyguard in tow, sent specifically by the luxury fashion house, it has been claimed.
Vick was on hand to host the evening's event in central London, which saw her sport two dazzling outfits; first was a pink strapless gown, which was accessorised with the pricey bling, before she changed into a black gown before she changed into a stunning silky black number with a plunging neckline and gorgeous matching scarf draped over the front of her neck.
With both planned looks she was lent stunning different jewellery pieces to compliment both, as she changed midway through the swanky do.
A source told The Sun: "Vick was lent diamond earrings, a necklace and a ring for the ceremony and Bulgari sent a bodyguard along to keep her safe. She wore the gems for the first half of the night before changing and handing the diamonds back."
During her speech, the former Strictly Come Dancing star, who recently gave birth to son Micah over the summer, asked the audience to 'be gentle' with her upon her return to the spotlight. She said: "Listen, not to sound like the first person ever to have a child but I am simultaneously so unbelievably in love and I feel like this Superwoman – just pumping in my boobs…
"But also, I have not slept or drank a cup of tea while it's still hot for 13 weeks, so please be gentle with me."
Vick and her husband shared the news with fans in July that they had welcomed their son, Micah Nwosu Wiles, on July 20. And now Vick has given fans a rare insight into her newborn bubble by sharing a slideshow of touching photos on Instagram – including a photograph of her in an inflatable birthing tub, a print of her placenta and much more.
Upon revealing the news of the birth, Calvin wrote on social media: “20th of July our boy arrived. Micah is here! My wife is a superhero and I am in complete awe of her primal wisdom! Just so grateful. We love you so much Micah.”
Several famous friends commented on Vick’s post, including AJ Odudu who said: “Big Mic! What a delight. Congratulations again.”
Pixie Lott commented: “So lovely congratulations aaa!!!!” and Arielle Free said: “Wee goosebumps seeing this! I hope you’re all on cloud 9 enjoying all the love together.”
Vick and Calvin live together on his Ibiza farm in Spain, called Terra Masia, which is known for being the island’s largest organic farm. The couple tied the knot in 2023 with a festival-style wedding at Hulne Priory in Alnwick, Northumberland, but had known each other for years. In fact, Vick revealed that Calvin had asked her out for the first time in 2007 - but said that she had rejected him at the time.
She later opened up to You Magazine: "It's something that we laughed about on our first proper date. We still laugh about it now." In 2022, they were spotted together in public for the first time and rumours began to fly that the pair were engaged.
Vick told Hello Magazine at the time that privacy was important to her and that the interest in her relationship was overwhelming. She said: “I've never really experienced this before about my private life, but it's just for us.”
