Nicole Kidman rocks stunning revenge gown for spotlight return after Keith Urban split

Oscar-winning actress Nicole Kidman caught attention as she returned to the spotlight amid her divorce from husband Keith Urban in a stunning black strapless gown for Vogue World

Nicole Kidman had all eyes on her as she headed down the runway at Vogue World 2025 in a dramatic strapless gown. The Oscar-winning actress, 58, commanded attention in her return to the spotlight in what could certainly be dubbed a 'revenge' dress following her split from husband Keith Urban, also 58.

She oozed glamour in the black gown that featured a thigh high split and floral detailing on her chest. Nicole kept her strawberry blonde locks in bouncy retro waves and added a bold red lip with dark smokey eye makeup.

The Babygirl star brought old Hollywood glamour to the event as she confidently walked down the runway in Los Angeles. At one point, Nicole struck a pose as she held out her hand and gazed over her shoulder.

Last month, Nicole shocked the showbiz world when she split from husband of 19 years, Keith. The pair had long been regarded as one of the tightest couples in the industry, having championed each others success over the years.

However, reports have claimed country singer Keith moved out of their Nashville home over the summer amid rumours he is already dating someone else. Nicole and Keith's divorce is said to have come as the pair "suffered irreconcilable differences".

It prompted the actress to begin divorce proceedings and arrangements over their two children, Sunday, 17, and Faith, 14. Divorce documents include a detailed parenting plan, with it said that Nicole will be the primary parent.

It has been suggested that she will be the residential parent for 306 days of the year, with the singer having the remaining 59. A source had previously revealed Nicole had been left anxious before the split came to light.

A source told People the Aussie star had: "Been stressed [for months] because she knew the separation would eventually become public and she was dreading [the public's response]."

The source went on: "She's surprisingly level-headed and calm. Now that it's out she's just focused on what's ahead and her girls." Nicole made her return to the spotlight earlier this month for the first time since the news of her divorce broke.

She was joined by her kids at an award ceremony in Dallas, Texas, where she honoured television showrunner Taylor Sheridan at the amfAR Dallas Gala. Nicole later gave an interview about making mistakes as she said: "Taking a risk is what I've always done. You get back up and you try again and you learn."

Speaking to Vogue, she added: "Literally walk away from it because it will fell you. It will destroy you." Keith has continued to tour following news of his split from Nicole as he carries out his High and Alive World Tour.

However, he has made a noticeable change to his setlist as he performed The Fighter, a 2016 hit which he had previously described as being written for Nicole. Keith used to sing: “When they’re tryna get to you, baby I’ll be the fighter,” which fans had long linked to his Oscar-winning wife.

A viral video showed the singer changing the lyrics to include his fiddle player Maggie Baugh’s name, singing: “Maggie, I’ll be your fighter.” Maggie, who is a member of his touring band, reposted the clip with the caption, “Did he just say that."
