Georgia Harrison, an activist and former Love Island star, has announced the birth of her first child. In a post on Instagram, she revealed the gorgeous and unique name she and her boyfriend Jack Stacey chose for their baby girl.

The star announced the birth of her daughter via a fun Halloween themed post on Friday (31 October). In that post, she kept fans guessing about the name she chose for her baby.

She ended the suspense by returning to Instagram on Saturday (1 November). In a post, which contained pictures of the happy family leaving he hospital, she wrote: "Sahara Jean Stacey. Born 12.09 on the 30th October 2025.

"We are more in love than we ever could have imagined. Thank you so much for all of your messages we’re so grateful. Time to enter the baby bubble."

Fellow Love Islanders flooded the comments with congratulatory messages. Kaz Crossley wrote, "Crying" along with several heart emojis. Tasha Ghouri also wrote: "Congratulations angel".

This comes only a day after she posted a fun video to the social platform, where she announced the birth. In the video, she is filmed rubbing and patting her baby bump, until the final clip where she is holding her baby. In the caption, she wrote: "Happy Halloween everyone. Trick or Treat that's the question?"

Again, she was met with congratulatory messages from several Love Islanders, including Tom Clare, Molly Smith and Liberty Poole. Other celebrities also congratulated her, including Charlotte Crosby, who said: "Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh this video was just such an unexpected surprise."

Georgia announced she was pregnant in April, just 10 months after she met her boyfriend Jack. At the time, she told The Mirror: "Anyone who knows us knows how strong we are, and how happy we make each other. We both definitely wanted children, and while some may say it feels too soon, we know that this is amazing news and we couldn’t be happier."

The birth is not the only brilliant thing to happen or Georgia this month. She was also awarded an MBE for her services to campaigning for better legislation tackling violence against women. She is the first Love Island to get the honour.

Speaking about her MBE earlier this month, Georgia said that it was an "amazing opportunity" to be made a Member of the Order of the British Empire by Prince William at Windsor Castle.

"I’m really grateful, and I’m 100% going to continue to step up in my campaigning. And if anything, this is going to be something that really drives me to continue to evoke change for women everywhere, and I’m really grateful to be given such responsibility.

“I feel exhilarated. I just didn’t realise how magical the moment was going to be. First of all, I was so happy when I found out it was Prince William.

“I really was hoping that he might be one of the people who was giving it and, you know, I had really found when I was receiving the award, that he took such a genuine interest in everything that I’d done, been following my story, and that really meant a lot to me.”
