Garmin Epix Pro 2 smartwatch cut by £360 in huge H Samuel sale
The Garmin Epix Pro 2 is a top-tier smartwatch with a huge discount at H Samuel
Garmin boasts a broad array of devices, and when a cracking deal pops up, it's worth taking note. The Garmin Epix Pro 2 smartwatch is currently sporting a £360 discount at H Samuel, making it one of the most affordable prices it's been.
Originally priced at £739.99, this significant price drop is noteworthy, even though it has been available for around £430 on Amazon recently. The Garmin Epix Pro 2 is a 2023 model. Initially, the Epix range was parallel to Fenix, but boasted a superb AMOLED display for brighter and sharper colours.
In 2024, Garmin combined Epix and Fenix, so the latest Fenix 8 features an AMOLED screen, but it comes with a heftier price tag. Thus, the Epix stands as a top-tier Garmin, one of the finest devices it offers, but presented here at a fantastic price.

The Garmin Epix Pro 2 is robustly built, designed for active and outdoor use, packed with the fitness features that Garmin is renowned for, and sports a 47mm display. It's a sizeable watch, but that also translates to a substantial battery life - around 16 days, reports the Mirror.
The display is a step up from older Garmin devices now that it's AMOLED, rivalling the likes of the Apple Watch, with sharp visuals and vibrant colours. It makes a much bigger impact than the old LCD screens that Garmin devices are better known for.

The Epix is a top tier smartwatch from Garmin with long battery life, a wonderful display, loads of features and rugged design.
This model features a new heart rate sensor - the Elevate Gen 5 - which promises enhanced accuracy and also provides ECG functions. Garmin excels at collecting data from all aspects of a person's life, including activities, sleep, and general existence, to offer insights into health and recovery.
Not only can users track their workouts, but they can also see how long it will take them to recover, how much sleep is recommended, and how prepared they are for their next workout.
The variety of sports included in the Garmin Epix is vast. It offers tracking for nearly every sport imaginable, but what sets Garmin's advanced devices (including the top Forerunner, Fenix, and this Epix model) apart is the advanced metrics for activities like running and cycling.
The watch has a 10ATM (100m) protection for diving, a 1.3-inch display on the 47mm case, and 32GB of storage to record workouts and download music. This means users can connect Bluetooth headphones, eliminating the need to carry a phone while running.
The smartphone app, compatible with both Apple and Android, allows owners to access all this data, as well as receive messages, accept or reject calls, and swiftly reply to messages. The connection isn't quite as seamless as the Apple Watch, and while additional apps can be installed on the Garmin, it doesn't quite match up to the offerings of the Apple Watch.
This, along with its size, is perhaps the only downside to this device. If the ruggedness of the Garmin Epix is a bit too much, then the Pixel Watch 4, priced at £449, serves as an excellent alternative for Android users seeking a more streamlined design.
For iPhone owners, the Apple Watch SE 3, currently available on Amazon for £249, is a great option. Garmin is known for offering significant discounts on Black Friday, so shoppers can look forward to more deals in the future. However, this early deal on the Garmin Epix Pro 2 seems like a good starting point.
