PRICES
Unit Sizes and numbers:
There is a maximum of 4 people permitted on any one pitch, except for families with more than 2 children.
A unit may be supplemented by the use of an extra tent or an extra car – provided that item has been booked and paid for.
However, two extra tents or an extra car and an extra tent are not permitted on one pitch.
Pitches are generous and large enough to accommodate a caravan with awning and car. But if your tent/unit is an unusual size or very large you will need to book two adjacent pitches.
We do not accept tents/caravans/motorhomes that are longer than 8m.
Bookings:
Deposits and balance payments are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Lead Booker Responsibilities:
You, as the person making the booking, will be responsible for all members of your party/group (including visitors). You, as the person in charge of your party/group (including visitors), must be at least 18 years old at the time of booking. Only the people named on the Booking Form, or when the booking is made by another means may stay with us.
Arrival & Departure Times:
All arrivals are between 12-7pm – please ensure your journey time will allow for this.
Pitch Location:
Your location and directions to it will be confirmed upon arrival. If in any doubt please check with us. Please do not pitch your unit until you have booked in with a member of the campsite team. Any guest pitched on the wrong location will be required to move.
Pitch Requests:
We are unable to offer specific pitches. If this will cause upset or offence please do not continue with your booking.
Group bookings:
We do not accept group bookings unless you have contacted us prior for agreement. This is to ensure that we are able to provide both you and our other guests the holiday experience desired. We do not accept single sex groups.
Events Outside Our Control:
We will not be responsible for any failure to perform our obligations under these terms and conditions that is caused by an event outside our control. An event outside our control means any act or event that is beyond our reasonable control, including without limitation severe weather event, drought, fire, explosion, storm, flood, earthquake, subsidence, epidemic or other natural disaster, strikes or industrial action by third parties, terrorist attack or threat of terrorist attack, war or threat of war, civil commotion, riot, invasion, or failure of public or private telecommunications networks.
Cancellations:
If you wish to cancel your booking please note that we do not offer refunds under any circumstances. We strongly recommend that you take out holiday cancellation insurance to cover unforeseen circumstances that may prevent you from attending your booking.
No Show:
If we have not heard from you within 24 hours of your expected arrival we will assume you no longer require the pitch and will release your booking.
Dogs:
We welcome well behaved dogs onto the campsite but they must be kept on a lead at all times and never left unattended. Being on a lead at all times also means having the lead being held by a responsible adult. It also means the pet being on a lead on and around your pitch. There is a large dog run field where they are able to go off lead and we have a private footpath that leads to the SWCF and beach. All fouling must be collected and disposed of. Dogs are not allowed inside the shop/lavatory block or children’s play area.
Children:
We welcome children to the Campsite but ask that they are supervised at all times by a responsible adult. Children must be accompanied by an adult when using the lavatories and shower block. All children must return to their own pitches by 9pm.
Cars:
One car is allowed per unit in conjunction with a tent or a caravan.
If you wish to bring an extra car, please contact us by telephone.
We have limited parking space available for additional vehicles, and we only allow one per pitch to ensure our beautiful views are not obstructed.
Bicycles:
We ask that bicycles are not ridden on the main driveways on the campsite for safety reasons.
Barbecues/Fire Pits:
These are allowed as long as they are off ground using legs/ fire bricks. We DO NOT allow open fires on the ground. Any damage to grass will be charged for.
All fires must be supervised at all times and fully extinguished before being left unattended. Hot ash must be disposed of into the ash bin located by the shower block. Rental fire pits must be returned to the shop (empty of ash) by 10am. At times of extreme heat and drought we will prohibit the use of any barbecues/fire pits due to safety.
Quiet Time:
Little Meadow observes a quiet time between the hours of 10pm-7am. This is to ensure all guests enjoy a peaceful stay. Noise must be kept to a minimum – persistent noise or disturbance will result in removal from Little Meadow with no refund.
Behaviour & Conduct:
We are a quiet tranquil campsite. Please, camp in harmony with your neighbour. We will remove any guest who behaves in a threatening, abusive or anti-social manner or is under the influence of drugs or excessive alcohol. The lead booker is responsible for the conduct of guests and family and shall take steps to ensure that their behaviour does not cause a nuisance, inconvenience or disturbance to other occupiers or cause damage to property belonging to the Campsite or such occupiers.
Rubbish & Recycling:
Refuse and litter is to be deposited into the refuse bins provided by the shower block. PLEASE DO NOT place recycling into these general waste bins. There is a recycling room with labelled bins for all recycling. Please keep your unit clean and tidy.
Seagulls:
Please DO NOT leave your rubbish bag unattended outside your unit. Seagulls will rip it open and scatter the rubbish. Always dispose of your rubbish bag into the bins provided before you leave for the day.
Grey Water/Chemical Waste Disposal:
This must only be discharged at the designated disposal points. Disposal elsewhere is strictly prohibited.
Electric Hook-Up Usage:
These hook-up points are 10 amps, and are provided for domestic, low-wattage camping use only. High power appliances (eg heaters, kettles, air fryers, hot plates) will trip the park system and are therefore not permitted.
EV Charging:
Electric vehicle charging is not permitted anywhere on site. Any transgression will incur a fixed penalty of £20.
Guests can use the EV charging points located within a 2 mile radius of the campsite.
Drones:
We do not allow drones to be flown anywhere on/above the campsite.
Mobile Phone/Wifi:
There is limited phone coverage at the campsite but there is wifi available – access on arrival.
Emergencies:
In the event of an emergency please call the emergency services and call at the Cottage to raise help. There are fire extinguisher points around the site. The site conforms to the 2005 Fire Regulation Order. There is a fire risk assessment available to view online and on site – please make sure that you are your party have read this and know what to do in the event of an emergency.
Pitch Siting:
Please ensure that your unit is pitched at least 6m away from any other unit (or 3m away for a family unit) and that your vehicle is pitched at least 3m away from any tents or other vehicles. This is to ensure that you are complying with current fire safety rules.
