With the Australian Signals Directorate's annual cyber threat assessment published this week, the The Australian Financial Review has a timely piece on AI cybersecurity threats proliferating in Australia in 2025. "'Anecdotally, we continue to see an increase in cybercrime activity. Scale and sophistication is increasing. AI will supercharge these things,' McGuinness said, adding that the cost of adopting the technology was low."
