Andy Feliciotti reposted thisAndy Feliciotti reposted thisLike a lot of you I've been messing around with all things AI over the last few months, Claude Code, Cowork, OpenClaw, Lovable, Codex, etc. It's been a lot of fun and has definitely been a "follow your curiosity" type of thing for me. While doing this I reconnected with a former CollabraLink employee of mine, Andy Feliciotti, who had a great idea: why not record these AI experimentation sessions and post them up on YouTube? That way, the uninitiated can watch and hopefully learn something from the vids. So that's how our show, Unprompted, came to be. Our collaboration was totally Unprompted, and so is all the learning that has come along the way. I'm doing this for fun, to learn new stuff, and to generally follow my curiosity — I'm feeling really lucky that I get to experiment and play around like this with little to no stakes involved. Andy Feliciotti shared thisNot every smart model can write. We use GPT 5.4 at RightBlogger right now. It's OpenAI's biggest model and it tops the Creative Writing Benchmark on EQ-Bench. This benchmark is basically an arena. Real people pick which model writes better side by side. Claude models rank high too, which is no surprise if you've used them for writing. But models like Gemini or Grok? Nowhere to be found. They are great at structured data and reasoning but falls short on creative writing. This is the thing that's hard to see on a standard benchmark chart. Writing quality is a different skill entirely. Andy Feliciotti shared thisWe tried to one-shot a playable game using Claude Code. It actually worked… better than we expected. Rahul Pandhi and I tested this on the latest episode of Unprompted Show. The idea was simple: Build a retro DOS-style game using AI. No assets. Just code + prompts. We weren’t even sure it would work. Within minutes, it generated a fully playable experience: - Text-based adventure gameplay - Multiple game modes (mystery, dungeon, escape) - Type-your-own actions OR quick-select buttons - Retro CRT-style visuals Since recording, we kept pushing it further: - Leaderboard + high scores - Live player count - Hundreds of hidden easter eggs - More polish across the experience It went from a fun experiment to something people actually want to play. Andy Feliciotti shared thisWhat if the real problem with AI coding tools is not the tool at all? A lot of bad results come from missing context, features, and structure in the prompt. This is why I build OneShotCode.app with Rahul Pandhi. This simple app let's you easily describe something you're building and have a complete prompt to use in tools like Claude Code or Codex. After describing your app, you get easy-to-use buttons to choose tech stack, design, and features, with options preselected if you are a beginner. Then boom! a simple prompt with everything well researched to use in an AI code tool.

Andy Feliciotti shared thisIt is wild to see Google AI overviews cite an auto-generated YouTube transcript as a source. That means errors in a transcript can spread fast. In our case, luckily we made the video. So we can upload a corrected transcript and fix the issue. But not everyone will catch it in time. If you create YouTube content, check your transcripts. (Rev.com is great for transcripts or you can use AI with an app like MacWhisper to create .srt files for YouTube) Make sure brand names are spelled right. (in our case YouTube had "Writ Blogger" for RightBlogger) Fix product names and key terms. Do not rely only on auto-captions. Small mistakes can turn into public citations in AI overviews as you can see here.

No more messy workflows. You control who has access and which projects they can see. Team members can jump in, help manage content, review SEO data, adjust tool settings, and keep everything moving. Business plan users can already add one team member, and we’re expanding this soon with additional seats on all plans. If you’re building content as a team, this makes the process a lot smoother.

Andy Feliciotti posted thisEarlier this week, I shared that I added accounts to my text-sharing site, ShareText.io. I’m happy to see it already has 100 accounts. It’s hard not to think that if I had added this feature a year ago, the site might now have thousands of accounts. This reminds me there’s never a perfect time to start something. It’s always better to start late than never.

This weekend while visiting my family, I spent some quality time with my brother filming him and his car 🚗 No agenda. No timeline. Just creating for the sake of creating. The DJI Osmo Nano blew me away. Compact enough to take anywhere, but capable of cinematic shots I didn’t think I could get without serious mounting hardware. This is the kind of work that reminds me why I got into this in the first place. 🎥 📸
