This population, consisting of young people between the ages of 13 and 24, accounts for 20% of the nation's homeless population. This was identified through statistical analysis, showing that 75.9% of these youths experience multiple episodes of homelessness, often caught in a relentless cycle of adversity.

Youth homelessness is an important issue because it not only impacts the immediate well-being of these individuals but also has long-term consequences for their futures. Moreover, their unique challenges and vulnerabilities call for tailored support and resources to break the cycle of homelessness.

Our goal is to effectively address youth homelessness in Canada by providing targeted support and resources that empower them to build brighter, more stable futures.

We have decided to create a mobile application for youths to easily find shelters with information such as availability and facilities, and resources that will help them to overcome their homelessness, which will ensure them to find some tips.
