“I had the opportunity to work with Sagith at TCS from January to May 2025 as part of a cross-functional team. Though we were in different roles, he consistently approached his work with creativity and a focus on user-centered design. His contributions to the UI/UX aspects of the project were thoughtful and aligned with project goal”

Youth Homelessness - Design for Change

The problem we addressed is the growing issue of youth homelessness in Canada. This population, consisting of young people between the ages of 13 and 24, accounts for 20% of the nation's homeless population. This was identified through statistical analysis, showing that 75.9% of these youths experience multiple episodes of homelessness, often caught in a relentless cycle of adversity.

This was identified through statistical analysis, showing that 75.9% of these youths experience multiple episodes of homelessness, often caught in a relentless cycle of adversity.
Youth homelessness is an important issue because it not only impacts the immediate well-being of these individuals but also has long-term consequences for their futures. Moreover, their unique challenges and vulnerabilities call for tailored support and resources to break the cycle of homelessness.
Our goal is to effectively address youth homelessness in Canada by providing targeted support and resources that empower them to build brighter, more stable futures.
We have decided to create a mobile application for youths to easily find shelters with information such as availability and facilities, and resources that will help them to overcome their homelessness, which will ensure them to find some tips.Other creators -

The project can only be accessible through Mac Platform, and it is not suitable to work on Windows. The user will be able to walk and jump within the game. Also, the user can see layout of the subway station, with some mountainous…
