Some days ago I gave a keynote at the Career Days by kariera.gr and I had the chance to talk about something that’s not just a workplace issue anymore: burnout. And the truth is, burnout doesn’t even start when we enter the workforce. It starts much earlier, in the #mindset we’re taught to adopt about #success, achievement, and worth. We raise young people to believe they need to be constantly productive, constantly available, constantly perfect, and then we wonder why so many of them reach their mid-twenties exhausted. However, burnout is not a disease of overwork. It’s a disease of over-responsibility. It’s what happens when we keep trying to meet everyone’s expectations but our own. That’s why prevention doesn’t start with denial. It starts with education. With teaching students, graduates, and young professionals how to: 🌱Set boundaries without guilt 🌱Rest without feeling lazy 🌱Say “no” without fearing rejection 🌱Ask for help before they collapse If we truly want to build resilient organizations, we need to start before people even become employees, because prioritizing our mental health is not a luxury we develop at 30, but a competence we cultivate from the moment we start dreaming about our #future. And last but not least: Burnout is not a personal failure. It’s a systemic outcome of how we define success. And yes, I’m veeeery happy to be taking part in initiatives like this, building change one small brick at the time 💪🏻

New Consumer Report Released: Insight into Serbian Spending Habits: The latest Valicon Consumer Insight Report Q3 2025 is out, revealing how Serbian consumers are adjusting in the current economic environment. 💬 About one in three respondents say their financial situation has worsened compared to last year. Inflation (60%) and political developments (58%) remain the leading concerns. CONAF reconfirms its leader!
