Hong Kong SAR Chief Executive John Lee attended the 32nd Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Economic Leaders' Meeting in Gyeongju, Korea (Nov 1) to exchange views with leaders of other economies on issues including AI development and demographic changes. During his visit to Korea, Mr Lee met with leaders from Singapore, the United Arab Emirates and the International Monetary Fund (Oct 31). APEC 2026 will be held in Shenzhen, Hong Kong’s neighbouring city.
