As part of Hispanic Heritage Month, we premiered La Estrella, our new Spanish language film, at Homeboy Industries in Los Angeles. There were tears, hugs and conversations that went on for hours. La Estrella is now the centerpiece of La Nueva Drug Talk, our program bringing fentanyl awareness and mental health and wellness resources to Latino families. We're grateful to Jose Arellano, Fabian Debora, Mike de la Rocha, and everyone at Homeboy Industries for hosting us, and to Tepito Coffee/Revolve Impact and Homegirl Cafe for their support. The Song for Charlie team came together in Pasadena this week (with a few members missing!) to plan for 2026. We’re continuing our commitment to empowering parents, caregivers, and teens with education and resources that promote safety, awareness and healthy coping.
