The Cherry Street Station arch is up! The 16th of 32 arches planned in Denver is now in place, marking the halfway point of station arch construction for the East Colfax Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) project. Each arch brings us closer to service along one of Denver’s busiest corridors. Meet Kevin Diviness, Director of Quality Assurance for Capital Programs, who is retiring after 25 years at RTD. Kevin’s journey to RTD began with a love for Colorado and a career in transit quality management. Over the past 25 years, he’s helped deliver projects that will serve communities for decades to come, building infrastructure that connects people long after the work is done. A military veteran, Kevin credits RTD’s strong support for service members and veterans as a defining part of his experience. He values the teamwork, discipline, and commitment shared across the organization, especially when solving complex challenges that come with delivering transit in all conditions.
