Throughout UK Black History Month, we came together to celebrate community, connection, and culture. At our London office, Indexers enjoyed a lunch featuring Nigerian cuisine from 2 Nigerian Boys and a lively trivia session that sparked learning and conversation. Beyond our walls, we proudly supported a transformative event for young people living with sickle cell, hosted by WPP Media’s Mosaic and Black Employee Network in partnership with Cianna's Smile. Last night, we were proud to host the MLTO: Machine Learning Toronto Executive AI Panel at our Toronto office, bringing together voices from both industry and academia to explore how organizations can drive AI innovation responsibly and at scale. A particularly engaging topic centered on AI’s energy consumption—a nuanced area where context matters. While some large language models draw significant power from the grid, AI is also driving efficiencies that help reduce energy use in other areas. Another key theme for the evening was AI literacy. As Tony Savor, our VP of platform engineering, put it, "The best way to build understanding is simple.
