Be honest. How many tabs do you have open alongside your pull request? 👀 Sometimes you need context or answers to questions outside the platform, but GitHub agent apps can bring that context where you already are. You can use services you depend on, like Amplitude, Endor Labs, LaunchDarkly, and PagerDuty, without ever leaving GitHub. 👇 https://lnkd.in/eyGNSjYN

What do you do when the pull request queue fills with work written by agents? The open-source project AutoGPT ran into this exact problem. Maintainer Nicholas Tindle stays in control by putting instructions where agents look, in AGENTS .md. 🔍 https://lnkd.in/gN9HTG9t

A much-needed refresh of the repository pull requests page landed in public preview this week: https://lnkd.in/gzmhfFCz It's very much in line with the rework we did on github.com/pulls earlier this year. We've all got a deluge of PRs these days, so we're working to make them easier to manage. Queries got more capable: you can combine filters with AND and OR, nest them, and get content assist as you type so you don't have to remember the syntax. And the page itself got reworked, with a sidebar for the filters people use most, a compact mode that fits more on screen, and check status, stack indicators, and unread updates inline. Try it out and give us feedback! #DeveloperTools #SoftwareEngineering

➡️ Happening now: GPT-5.6 Sol is 30% off in GitHub Copilot for Pro+ and Max subscribers. Offer ends September 13 at 00:00 UTC.
📣 OpenAI's GPT-5.6 family is now generally available and rolling out in GitHub Copilot. GPT-5.6 comes in three variants: ☀️ GPT-5.6 Sol: the highest reasoning ceiling in the family. Best for complex reasoning over large codebases and demanding, long-running agentic work. 🌎 GPT-5.6 Terra: the balanced default. A strong all-round choice for everyday interactive and agentic coding. 🌕 GPT-5.6 Luna: a lightweight, cost-efficient variant for smaller, faster tasks and the lowest-cost option in the family. Try one, two, or them all in Visual Studio Code or the GitHub Copilot app. https://lnkd.in/e7MMxgCE
