🚨 SNAP Benefits Disrupted for Over 40 million Neighbors For the first time in history, the country’s largest anti-hunger program has been disrupted. Over 40 million people — including hard-working families, kids, seniors, and people with disabilities — have temporarily lost access to the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) due to the federal shutdown. Across the country, neighbors are doing everything they can to care for their families. Their resilience is extraordinary, but with grocery costs already stretching budgets to the limit, this moment calls for compassion and collective action. Together, we can ensure families and individuals stay nourished through the unexpected and continue to feel the strength of a community that shows up when it matters most. 🧡 Give Now – Your support helps provide meals and hope for neighbors facing hunger: bit.ly/4hrZTts

The nation's first line of defense against hunger is at risk. 🚨 SNAP (also known as food stamps or EBT) is at risk of running out of money due to the federal government shutdown, impacting roughly over 40 million people. The deadline to fund the program is November 1. Anyone can lose a job, become sick or need to take care of a child or family member. SNAP is there to help people afford the food they need to stay healthy and get back on their feet. At a time when the cost of groceries is already out of reach for many, we need to come together for our neighbors facing tough choices. Your voice and your generosity matter. Together, we can help families and individuals stay nourished through the unexpected. Give now: bit.ly/4hrZTts

Walmart is investing in the Feeding America network to help end hunger and rescue more good food! The Retail Agency Capacity Grants are part of Walmart’s ongoing promise to help food banks and partner agencies do even more for neighbors. These grants are all about making it easier to rescue good food—fresh, frozen, and shelf-stable—from grocery stores and getting it into the hands of people who need it most. With this funding, food banks and their partners can reach more neighbors facing hunger by securing equipment like refrigerated trucks, coolers, scales, and forklifts. The grants also help pay for essential resources like staff, technology, and training, all so we can make a difference together. #FoodRescue #walmartgrant

Every child deserves the chance to learn, grow, and dream without wondering where to find their next meal. Yet for millions of children in the U.S., hunger remains a daily reality—especially when school is out of session. The ripple effects extend far beyond the classroom, impacting health, education, and our shared economic future. In a new Fast Company op-ed, our CEO, Claire Babineaux-Fontenot, and C.D Glin, President of the PepsiCo Foundation, explore how ending childhood hunger is not only a moral imperative—it’s a business one. Together, we’re calling on leaders across industries to recognize that investing in nutrition is investing in the next generation of thinkers, creators, and changemakers. Access to nutritious food is at risk for millions. 🚨 The largest food programs in America are at risk of running out of money due to the federal government shutdown, impacting over 42 million people. The deadline to fund these programs is November 1. SNAP (sometimes known as food stamps or EBT) and WIC, a program that supports women, infants, and children who are low-income, help provide basic needs for people in your community — including hard-working families, kids, seniors and people with disabilities. At a time when the cost of groceries is already out of reach for many, we need to come together for our neighbors facing tough choices. Your voice and your generosity matter.
