"Made in Ethiopia" is a feature length documentary film that explores the drama around the expansion of a major Chinese-owned industrial park in Ethiopia through the stories of three extraordinary women. It premiered at Tribeca where it received a special mention from the jury and has been all of the world since. I have been a fan since directors Max Duncan and Xinyan Yu were first developing and it so I am extra delighted that ChinaFile will welcome them and the film to Asia Society next month for a screening and discussion that I will host. Please come join us October 6th a 6pm @Asiasociety. Details are below. https://lnkd.in/eUwS594E

Following the screening, co-directors Xinyan Yu and Max Duncan will be in conversation with ChinaFile Editor-in-Chief Susan Jakes, who was also an Executive Producer of the film. https://lnkd.in/ecXHXJde
