When writer and content creator Anna Crollman was first diagnosed with breast cancer, she turned to sharing her story online as a way to process the experience. What she found was something even more powerful: community. “For so many people going through cancer, or divorce, or something traumatic in their lives, finding a community can be a lifeline,” she tells Samantha Skey on the Finding Flow podcast. Listen to Anna’s story of strength, connection, and healing: https://lnkd.in/euFtgWuR This content was created independently by SHE Media with support from Novartis Pharmaceuticals. The earliest days of BlogHer events relied on women (and some men) sitting in a circle, talking about big ideas and sharing big dreams. This gathering- organized to celebrate SHE Media friend Natalie Nixon, PhD at the gorgeous home of supremely generous Sheila Lirio Marcelo - generated similar vibes (but far more elegant on every level). Here’s to big hearts, challenging ideas and the opportunity to hustle and flow through life with a bunch of irl humans.

🌟 My heart is full✨ Last week, I had the honor of celebrating the launch of “Move. Think. Rest.” at a private gathering hosted by the powerhouse duo Sheila Lirio Marcelo, founder of Care.com and CEO of Ohai.ai; and Samantha Skey, CEO of SHE Media. It wasn’t just a book event—it was a moment of meaningful connection among incredible women navigating career, creativity, and purpose at midlife. We explored what it means to move with intention, think with clarity, and rest with power. And I realized something deeply personal: There is NO way I could have written “Move. Think. Rest.” 5 or 10 years ago- and definitely not when I was in my 20’s! 🤣 Some stories can only be told when you’re ready. It’s a testament to the timing of personal growth, and how creativity matures with life experience. To Sheila, Samantha, Jen Denton, Andrea Lirio and Coco Adams and EVERYONE who showed up with open hearts and sharp minds—thank you🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽 . Here’s to starting a MTR Movement- one full of intentional, joyful, and sustainable living. 💡📘 #MoveThinkRest #WomenInLeadership #BookLaunch #IntentionalLiving #CreativityIsYourEdge #WonderRigor #MidlifeMomentum #Gratitude #NatalieNixonPhD

Samantha Skey, CEO of SHE Media, joined Jennifer DaSilva, VML, Tanya Rad, iHeartMedia, & Seema Keswani, MPH, Qualcomm, at VML’s Women in Marketing & Leadership Brunch at Cannes for a timely discussion on how brands can leverage AI while maintaining the human touch that drives real connection. It doesn’t get much better than meaningful connections, insightful conversations, and beautiful views. Congratulations on an incredible event, VML.
