Ahold Delhaize announces today it has appointed Alexandros Boussis, currently SVP Commerce & Marketing, as the new Brand President of local Belgian brand Delhaize Belgium as of January 1, 2026. Ahold Delhaize USA recently announced its new propriety retail media platform, Edge, that’s custom built for grocery retail and is due to launch January 2026. Powered by retail media arm AD Retail Media USA and developed by in-house tech teams and based on proven technology used by several of Ahold Delhaize’s European brands, Edge brings together sponsored search, onsite display and in-store digital screens. Today marks a global milestone, the 10th anniversary since the global adoption of the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). It is a day to raise awareness of these important goals and how they not only guide Ahold Delhaize but many organizations and governments worldwide, towards a more inclusive, just and sustainable world.     The SDGs have inspired Ahold Delhaize’s own health and sustainability ambitions, as well as our purpose: inspiring everyone to eat and live better for a healthier future for people and the planet.
