The Lāhainā Public Library is closed until further notice.
The Kāneʻohe Public Library temporarily closed on February 26, 2024 for a construction project.
A small pop-up location offering limited services is available inside the Windward Mall, near Ross Dress for Less, Fun Factory and Panda Express. Patrons will be able to borrow from a small collection of materials, pick-up holds, return borrowed items, use computers and wi-fi service. The pop-up location will maintain the same hours as the library.
At this time, the construction project is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2025.
ALERT | In holiday observance of Christmas, all public libraries will be closed on Thursday, December 25, 2025.
On Christmas Eve (Wednesday, Dec. 24) all public libraries that normally offer evening hours will close no later than 4 p.m.
