The Hawaiʻi State Public Library System provides bookmobiles to ensure that residents of Hawaii have access to public library materials and services. HSPLS operates two bookmobiles on Maui and Molokaʻi. It’s a fun and effective way to reach those who cannot travel to their public library.

Did you know the Molokaʻi Bookmobile includes stops at preschools and Home Pumehana, a senior living community? Bookmobile schedules are subject to change.

ALERT | In holiday observance of Christmas, all public libraries will be closed on Thursday, December 25, 2025.
On Christmas Eve (Wednesday, Dec. 24) all public libraries that normally offer evening hours will close no later than 4 p.m.
