Many STIs can be cured with antibiotics, and all can be managed with other medication to minimize risk to you and others.
Activating the kit connects you to the unique alphanumeric barcode within your LetsGetChecked sample collection kit. The laboratory cannot process your sample if the kit is not activated and linked to you.
LetsGetChecked has a team of board-certified providers who have created expert support materials and detailed result breakdowns for your testing journey. Our clinical team is on standby throughout the testing process and, if you test positive, you may receive a call to discuss your results.
The sample must be collected in the morning, on a Monday-Friday, and returned on the same day.
For your urine sample please make sure to collect the initial stream of urine in the morning. Do not urinate for at least 1 hour before collecting your urine sample and do not cleanse the genital area that morning.
If you are concerned about possible exposure to one of these diseases you should refrain from sexual activity until you receive a test result. For some diseases, retesting after treatment may be required.
Return your sample using the carrier method provided within the sample collection kit. Each of our health tests includes a prepaid shipping envelope to return your samples to the laboratory.
Please do not collect or return samples on a Saturday or Sunday.
Please note: Sample collection kits have an expiration date on the side of the kit box in year, month, and day format. If your kit has expired, you will be unable to activate it.
