http://www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/2023/6/section/48/enactedGenetic Technology (Precision Breeding) Act 2023King's Printer of Acts of Parliament2024-03-01 Part 5 48 1 This Act may be cited as the Genetic Technology (Precision Breeding) Act 2023. 2 Part 1 comes into force on the day on which this Act is passed. 3 Parts 2 to 4 and sections 39 and 40 come into force— a so far as necessary to enable the exercise of any power to make regulations, on the day on which this Act is passed; b for remaining purposes, on such day as regulations may appoint. 4 Section 41 comes into force on such day as regulations may appoint. 5 The rest of this Part comes into force on the day on which this Act is passed. 6 Regulations under this section may appoint different days for different purposes. 7 Regulations may make transitional, transitory or saving provision in connection with the coming into force of any provision of this Act. 8 Regulations under this section are to be made by statutory instrument.
