Invited Rehearsals
Invited Rehearsals provides young musicians and their instructors with a rare glimpse of the Los Angeles Philharmonic as the orchestra prepares for a concert. As part of the experience, these student musicians will gain first-hand insight into the rehearsal process, information on the repertoire and composers, and the chance to take part in a dynamic and interactive workshop.
The Invited Rehearsals program accepts applications from classroom instrumental music ensembles within Los Angeles County.

Program Overview

Attend one rehearsal by the Los Angeles Philharmonic at Walt Disney Concert Hall

Participate in an interactive activity

There is no fee for participation

Chosen ensembles must commit to providing their own transportation to and from Walt Disney Concert Hall
Eligibility

Open only to school music ensembles with players in middle and/or high school (grades 6-12)

School must be in Los Angeles County
-
Must be an instrumental ensemble (jazz groups, wind ensembles, orchestras, chamber ensembles, etc., are welcome)

Exemplary audience etiquette is expected
