Opening hours for the Castle and Victoria House

Here you can see our opening hours for the seasons, further down the page you can buy tickets for guided tours. During the high season (13 June - 14 September), entrance tickets are purchased at the castle.

Different opening hours in 2026:

On 13 June, the castle will be closed in the morning for the inauguration. Afterwards, the gates to the new exhibitions will open from 14:00.

    The restaurant is open Friday-Sunday from 30 January to 3 May. 

    Coffee break 10.00-16.00

    Lunch 12.00-15.00 (Kitchen closes at 14.30)

    Dinner from 18.00 to 21.00 (Offered Fridays and Saturdays. Kitchen closes at 20.30)

  • Campsite & Guest harbour

    Campsites is closed for the season

    Opening hours 2026: 30 April - 13 September

    The campsite reception (the red log house) is open from 15 June - 16 August from 12 - 19. At other times of the year, you can check in at the reception at the visitor centre.

Prices

Below you can see our different seasonal prices. All summer exhibitions, the castle church and visits to the small castle garden are included in the admission price. Do you only want to visit the courtyard, the castle garden and the castle shop? Buy the courtyard pass!
