KREJ and KSNS are listener supported Christian radio stations operating from Medicine Lodge, Kansas and serving south central Kansas and northwest Oklahoma. KREJ carries teaching programs, drama, local worship services, and a variety of Christian music. It operates on 101.7 FM at 50,000 watts. KSNS broadcasts contemporary Christian music on 91.5 FM at 96,000 watts. Area volunteers are an important part of both stations.

New Owner!
The FCC approved the sale of KREJ and KSNS to Smile FM on May 28, and the sale was completed soon after that.
Ed C., with Larry Martin’s help, has fixed the distortion and buzzing that has plagued the KREJ signal for several months. Also, they have switched KREJ and KSNS back to their original frequencies. KREJ programming is now broadcast on 101.7 FM and KSNS programming is on 91.5 FM. Plus, KSNS is now using Smile FM programming.

Temporary KREJ Stream
Some of our equipment has been having problems when it gets cold; we are working on it, but haven’t found the cause. In light of the weather forecast, we have set up a temporary stream for KREJ. We will probably go off the air sometime Thursday night and stay off until Tuesday about noon. Thank you for your patience, and please pray that we can find what’s causing this problem.
