 Job Title: Helpline Advisor 

Worksop, Nottinghamshire

Hours: Monday to Thursday 8:30am–5:00pm | Friday 8:30am–12:30pm / 36 hours per week

Pay Rate: £25,500 per annum

Our client is seeking an experienced and compassionate Helpline Advisor to support the delivery, promotion and development of their National Kidney Patients Helpline.

This is a vital role, providing information, guidance and reassurance to kidney patients, their families and carers across the UK.

Working as part of a small and supportive team, you will handle incoming enquiries, maintain accurate records and contribute to the ongoing development of helpline services, ensuring callers receive a high standard of support at all times.

Key responsibilities include:

Handling incoming helpline enquiries via telephone and email
Providing accurate information, guidance and signposting to patients and families
Maintaining and updating databases, call records and helpline statistics
Supporting peer support networks and self-help group information
Assisting with the development and updating of information leaflets and resources
Supporting general office and administrative duties when required
About you:

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a comparable helpline, advisory or support-based role (essential)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a calm and empathetic approach
Confident using databases and Microsoft Office systems
Able to work independently as well as part of a small team
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Understanding of kidney-related health issues or healthcare environments (desirable)

Job Title: Community Fundraiser

Hybrid / Worksop, Nottinghamshire

Hours: Monday to Thursday 8:30am–5:00pm | Friday 8:30am–12:30pm / 36 hours per week

Pay Rate: £26,000 per annum

Our client is seeking an experienced Fundraiser to support the growth of income across corporate partnerships, events and community fundraising.

This role is suited to someone with proven fundraising experience who is confident building relationships, developing campaigns and generating income within a charity or not-for-profit environment.

Working closely with the Marketing and Fundraising team, you will play an important role in developing sustainable income streams that enable the organisation to continue supporting kidney patients across the UK.

Key responsibilities include:

Developing and managing corporate fundraising partnerships and CSR opportunities
Planning, promoting and delivering fundraising events and challenge campaigns
Supporting and growing community fundraising initiatives and supporter engagement
Managing relationships with fundraisers, supporters and volunteers
Maintaining accurate fundraising records, income tracking and reporting
About you:

Proven experience working in a fundraising role (essential)
Experience within a charity or not-for-profit organisation (desirable)
A track record of generating income and meeting fundraising targets
Confident communicator with strong relationship-building skills
Organised, self-motivated and able to manage multiple fundraising activities
Good IT skills, with experience using databases or CRM systems
