Crime Stoppers: Omaha police search for group of young people caught on camera during brutal attack
A group of young people brutally attacked a mother and her son, and it was all caught on video.
It happened in the lobby of an Omaha movie theater, and someone caught some of the attack on their cellphone.
Omaha police are asking for the public's help to identify the people in the video.
The incident happened at Aksarben Cinema on South 67th Street on Tuesday around 11:30 p.m.
Police said the attackers were being loud in a movie and were asked to leave.
During that, a mom told a girl who was wearing a red top to be quiet.
Then that girl spat on the mom.
Her 18-year-old son then told the girl in red that she should apologize for spitting on his mother.
That's when the assault broke out.
The attackers stomped on their heads and kicked them in the face.
They also used a large flashlight during the attack.
When it was over, the mom had a broken wrist, cuts to her head and lip, and a chipped tooth.
The son had a large cut on the top of his head and a lot of bruising.
