Omaha Crime Stoppers: 3 men caught on camera attacking man, trying to steal e-bike and kittens
A violent robbery was caught on camera.
The incident happened near 13th and Vinton streets around 9:30 a.m. on Sept. 3.
An SUV pulled up, and three guys got out.
They knocked a man to the ground and kept punching and kicking, while one of them went for their real target.
It was an e-bike and the kittens that were in a basket attached to the back.
The victim kept fighting back, but the men got away with his cellphone before they left.
A couple of them were spotted a short time later, running through a nearby neighborhood.
They were all wearing dark jeans.
One had on a dark striped shirt, while another was in a white T-shirt and black cap.
The third had on a black hat, and he covered his face with a blue bandana.
The victim went to the hospital with a broken bone in his face.
The cats were not hurt.
