This is an editorial from KETV's president and General Manager Allison Smith This week, "7 Can Help" will be looking at the need for diapers for Nebraska families. The Nebraska Diaper Bank has a goal of making sure every baby in our state has access to this essential item. Each year, the Bank gives out 3 million diapers. Families can find themselves in a desperate situation making tough choices about whether to spend money on diapers or other needs. Without diapers, parents can't access child care, and can't return to work or school. If you have unused diapers, please donate them. Donate what's left of those opened, half-used packages. The greatest need is for larger sizes — size 5 or size 6. Get together with your co-workers or friends, and host a diaper drive. The best way to help is to give money.
