Bird City is a new map modifier in ARC Raiders and it occurs in the Buried City. Birds have returned to the city following the end of the Cold Snap event. Here's everything you need to know about the Bird City Map Modifier in ARC Raiders.

All Bird City Modifiers

There are three main modifiers that occur with Bird City: increased Birds, Trinkets, and Ziplines.

Increased birds is straightforward: there are more birds gathering in larger numbers, which means if you run past a flock of birds, more of them are going to fly up into the air, alerting players to your location. There's also a good chance other ARCs may take notice, as well.

The increased amount of trinkets around the city is also a significant bonus. Trinkets are items you can't use in crafting, but they provide a good amount of money if you're willing to sell them. These items include the Faded Photograph, Cat Bed, Rubber Duck, Light Bulb, Dart Board, Film Reel, Rosary, Very Comfortable Pillow, Vase, Music Box, Playing Cards, Breathtaking Snow Globe, Lance's Mixtape, and many more. When you need money, jump into Bird City!

What's also interesting is that the birds have made nests inside the chimneys. If you're willing to explore the top of roofs, there's a good chance you can find a bird nest tucked inside a chimney with a handful of items that you can bring with you. Don't expect a huge bounty, but they'd be good to grab if you need additional items before leaving.

The last modifier is the increased Ziplines. You'll find these throughout the roofs of Buried City, where you can quickly jump between buildings without having to make a dangerous jump. It should make exploring the rooftops much easier, especially if you want to see what items the birds have gathered up in their nests!

These chimney locations are not only for show! There's also a chance for you to find special ducks inside them. Here are all the locations you can find the various rubber ducks while playing in Bird City.

All Rubber Duck Locations

There are 7 Rubber Ducks that you can find, with 6 new ones added alongside the standard yellow Rubber Duck you can still find on every map. The chimney where you can find these Rubber Ducks is random. Unfortunately, you won't be able to visit a set rooftop to track them down. However, we have some recommended locations for you to visit during your run, marked below! We highly recommend any of the south buildings with tall roofs, or the small village close to the center, on the west side.
