I first read this in Dec of 2015. Almost 27 years old then & have known i'm bi since I was 13...and it was the first time I ever saw a single bi character. I couldn't stop crying & loved this book so much!
I've been scared to re-read it ever since. But i'm finally doing that for the #queerlitread readathon. One chapter in and already on the verge of tears again.
I think i'm going to love this book all over again!

Omg I just want so badly to give Etta a hug! I'm only half way through and it's already more annotated than any other book so far. And i've cried more than any other book so far. I just wanna hug Etta!

Loving this so far! Etta, the main character, is a bisexual recovering anorexic black girl and I am loving every bit of her! <3 Warning: May cause rage. The parts where she gets shit, from her lesbian friends, for being bi, hit me close to home and caused me to go on a rant. It's like people forget the B in LGBT, even within the LGBT community. It just hits me hard, for RL reasons.
