I am lucky enough to know the amazing Lyssa Fairbanks, so I have had the privilege of reading multiple drafts of this story. The end result is something that manages to be funny and poignant, charming and racy, sizzling and sweet. Although this story stands alone, the character development and world-building serve as a solid foundation for the rest of the 4-book series. Fairbanks does a great job slowly building the central romance while also introducing a slew of secondary characters who will get more page time in forthcoming novels. Great for fans of Grey's Anatomy or Ali Hazelwood.
