Christian Fiction Devourers (CFD) is a Christian group that loves reading Christian fiction books. We love getting to know each other, sharing laughter and tears, and praying for one another so we may stand for Jesus in the crazy world we live in. Please come and join in the fun!

The basic setup:
- Join in as much or as little as your schedule permits
- Our Book of the Month (BOTM) is chosen by the members. Nominations of Christian fiction books that have been published for at least three months at the start of the BOTM read may be submitted during an open period (check the Book of the Month Reading folder for the monthly nominations thread). Authors may NOT nominate their own books. Voting runs from the 1st of the month to the end of the month. The voting is for a month in advance. So, for example, the voting period ending January 31 will be for the Book of the Month we will read in March. This typically allows all members time to find, borrow, buy, lend, and read the book before the discussions end. The book with the most votes will be the Book of the Month.
- Our reading challenges are just for fun. No prizes are given. You may participate in as many or as few as you like. Please do not delete your sign-up post once participant links are created, as this will mess up the links in the list.

Important:
- Please do not denigrate the Bible. This is not the group for that since we are a Christian group.
- Please do not create new threads. We have a place for virtually everything. If you are uncertain where something belongs, please let a moderator know in our Announcements and Suggestions thread, and they will help direct you to the best location for your need.
- Any new threads created by non-moderators will be deleted without notice. Repeat offenders will be removed from the group without notice.
- Please read our Welcome Letters that give you guidance on where to begin participating in our group.
- Please do not share or promote books that contain explicit sex, explicit language, or gratuitous violence and gore with the group, as these are not a good fit for our group.
- You may use general market books for our reading challenges. Simply give a warning (example: general market, swearing, etc.) when you post the book and task it completes.
- Abuse or blatant disregard of these guidelines will result in immediate removal from Christian Fiction Devourers.

Authors:
- Please do not create new threads. (See previous section.)
- Please do not spam the group with repetitive ads or by posting ads in irrelevant threads. These will be cause for removal from the group.
- Please read our Welcome Letter. There is guidance and warnings there that you should heed.
- We have an Author Intros and Promotions folder that may be helpful for you. Do not create new threads within this folder. You may use the appropriate already-created threads within this folder for what you need.
- If your book contains explicit sex, explicit language, or gratuitous violence and gore, please do not share or promote it in our group. We suggest you find a more appropriate group in which to post about such books.
- To have the greatest success in CFD, we suggest getting to know your fellow members by participating in discussions and reading challenges rather than only promoting your own works. Creating a personal connection is often key to gaining new readers, and CFD is a wonderful place to make new friends--whether they be author or reader or both.
- Abuse or blatant disregard of these guidelines will result in immediate removal from Christian Fiction Devourers.

Bloggers:
- Please share your clean blog articles with the group in the appropriate thread in our Blogging and Reviewing folder.
- Please do not create new threads to promote your blogs or giveaways.
- To have the greatest success in CFD, we suggest getting to know your fellow members by participating in discussions and reading challenges rather than only promoting your own works. Creating a personal connection is often key to gaining new readers/followers, and CFD is a wonderful place to make new friends--whether they be blogger or reader or both.
- Abuse or blatant disregard of these guidelines will result in immediate removal from Christian Fiction Devourers.

Most Importantly:
- Have fun!
