This book is truly the best example of the perfect sequel.
Catching Fire took everything The Hunger Games had, and ramped it up x1000.
This book has the original concept of the games from book 1, and the revolution from book 3 and I LOVE IT. Now first reading this, I didn’t enjoy this as much as book 1, but let’s just say, I have better taste in books 5 years later. 🤷🏽♀️
Not only is this my favorite in the series, it’s my favorite book I’ve ever read. It’s just so perfect, and I still have yet to read a single sequel as good as this, even 5 years later!
