it was amazing
bookshelves: 5-star-reads, love-and-romance

The Fault in Our Stars is a clever little book because it normalises a tragic piece of life that is surprisingly underrepresented in fiction. It’s also funny, wise and heart-warming in a sad sort of way.

I’m not going to say too much about this one, only that it really is worth reading regardless of your age. It captures a piece of humanity that we all need to hear.

Word of warning though, it might make you cry.

Rachel Not a half-bad book. Charming, really. Enjoy!

Megan Have fun! I'm yet to read a John Green book and don't see myself doing so anytime soon...

Jim i find these books to be tiresome, but if it gets one through their day, then OK...

Anna well, you're not 16 so quite a few bits will be lame. Also Green's voice comes thru far too strongly which is problematic when the character it's coming from is a teen girl

Andrea McDermott I thought it was overhyped but looking forward to your review.

Nour El Houda Ziani I agree with Anna.

Emmelyn Yay! Im very glad you enjoyed this one. I hope you continue reading more of John’s stuff! Many of his books have changed the way I think about life in slightly different ways :)

He's so popular, I didn't realise how much he's written until now. I always thought he was one of those writers that churn out one huge book and then nobody reads the rest of his stuff. Clearly not the case.

Brittany Thanks for the review. I have been on the fence about reading this. I think I will try it!

Florence Bernice Sooo... did you cry?

Emmelyn Mm yes i guess cause TFIOS blew up overnight itd be easy to think that. But youre right hes got such a big and loyal following even before TFIOS cause of vlogbrothers. Defs check them out if you havent already! :)

I may have shed a tough man tear or two……haha just kidding. I wept. I’m a romantic at heart.
