I really enjoyed the first 50 pages and the last 50 pages, but everything in between was underwhelming. I'm going to do a full video review to share more of my thoughts, so look out for that! :)

I hate when a book has a cool synopsis and a beautiful cover and just doesn't deliver :( I wasn't impressed either.
2nd person present is a really distracting and odd way to write it and I didn't like it

Yeah i didn't really enjoyed this book either. I'm thinking about trading this in at a used bookstore. Not my cup of tea.
I finished it a few hours ago and I agree I liked it it but there were parts that were just bland and boring. I understand why people like it and it has a nice plot it just didn't live up to what I thought it would be
only did the last 50 pages gave us a glimpse of magic and witches are really about, but before that it was all meh.

So far I think it's good.
I did enjoy it though I had some trouble reading it at first (the writing style annoyed me a bit, and I didn't really like many of the characters). So far I think Half Wild is way better and there's a new character I really like.
